Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for her acting to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, they were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their favorite television couples. Entertainment Television.
